Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Tinkeris is designed with privacy in mind. Many of our tools process your inputs directly in your browser, and we aim to collect only the information needed to operate, secure, and improve the website.

2. Information processed by Tinkeris

In the current pre-advertising version, Tinkeris does not intentionally collect or upload:

• calculator inputs
• calculation results
• converter inputs/results
• text entered into text tools
• developer-tool content
• homepage search queries
• selected local files
• PDF contents
• image contents
• filenames for processing

3. Local tool processing

Examples of our local-processing tools include calculators, converters, text tools, developer tools, file tools, PDF tools, and image tools.

4. Files, PDFs and images

When you select a supported file, PDF, or image for one of the current local-processing tools, the file is read and processed inside your browser.

Tinkeris does not currently upload those selected files to a Tinkeris processing server. Generated output files are created locally and downloaded at the user's request.

5. Tool search

The Tinkeris tool search currently filters the published tool catalog inside your browser. Search terms are not currently sent to an analytics provider or stored by Tinkeris.

6. Cookies

Tinkeris does not currently set application cookies or use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. We also do not currently use third-party scripts that set cookies.

This may change if we introduce features such as advertising, analytics, account functionality, or other services. If that happens, we will update this Privacy Policy and implement any consent controls that are appropriate for the technologies we use.

7. Browser storage

Tinkeris does not currently use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or the browser Cache Storage API to store user tool inputs or tracking identifiers.

Your browser may still cache ordinary website assets such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, or fonts as part of normal web browsing. Browser caching is separate from Tinkeris storing your tool inputs.

8. Analytics

Tinkeris does not currently use a production analytics service. We do not currently use third-party analytics trackers to record your use of individual tools.

9. Advertising

Tinkeris does not currently display third-party advertising or load advertising tracking scripts.

If advertising is introduced in the future, advertising providers may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies depending on the advertising configuration and applicable consent choices. We will update this policy before or when such technologies are introduced.

10. Technical information used to deliver the website

Like most websites, the infrastructure used to host, deliver, protect, and troubleshoot Tinkeris may process ordinary technical request information. This includes:

• IP address
• browser/user-agent information
• requested page or URL
• date and time of request
• HTTP response/status information
• referrer information
• network/security logs

This technical processing may occur at the hosting, CDN, DNS, security, or infrastructure-provider level even though the Tinkeris tool application itself does not collect your tool inputs.

11. Service providers / infrastructure

We may use hosting, CDN, DNS, and security providers to make the website available and protect it from abuse.

12. Accounts and payments

Tinkeris does not currently require user accounts or sign-in for its tools. We do not currently collect account usernames, passwords, profile information, or authentication data through an account system. If account features are added, this policy will be updated.

Tinkeris does not currently process payments or collect payment-card information.

13. Data retention

Tinkeris does not currently retain tool inputs or generated tool results on a Tinkeris application server because those tools process the information locally.

Hosting, security, and infrastructure providers may retain technical logs according to their own operational and security retention practices.

14. Security

We design Tinkeris to minimize unnecessary data transmission and use reasonable technical practices to protect the website.

15. Third-party links

Tinkeris may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

16. Children's privacy

Tinkeris provides general-purpose online utilities and is not designed specifically to collect personal information from children. Because the current service does not require accounts or request personal information for ordinary tool use, we do not intentionally collect profile information from users through those tools.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Tinkeris changes, including when we add analytics, advertising, accounts, new processing architectures, or other services. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect material changes.
